Hi! We’re the Lux System. We are plural, meaning we are many selves living in one human body. We describe ourselves as non-disordered, mixed origin and real. This blog is a place for imperfection and creative selves-expression with a serious aim: to create compassionate and liberating spaces of possibility for ourselves and our readers, via text.

For more information on plurality and related etiquette, visit our Resources page. For more detailed information about each of us visit our Introductions page.

For a better sense of where we’re coming from: we live in a white, trans, gender-nonconforming body, of mostly northern european cultural lineage.

We are in the long process of healing our developmental and relational trauma—this blog is an expression of that.

Land/earthscapes mean a lot to us and we love where we live, on unceded Dakhóta territory, presently known as Minneapolis, Minnesota. We acknowledge the wound of ongoing settler colonialism, and our own responsibility to join in the lives-long communal work of repair.
